Home FAQ Day of your session

Day of your session

  • What should I bring to my appointment?
If you have some favorite DVD's or CD’s, or an ipod, feel free to bring them along. Some will also bring snacks, a book, and whatever else they need to feel comfortable. The 'During your Session' page in this site's 'Process' section also provides a checklist you may find useful.
  • What should I wear?
It's important to bring clothing that will allow access to the area being tattooed, and that is loose-fitting on the tattoo and comfortable. Also, there's a chance of a little ink getting on your clothing, so darker-colored, expendable clothing is best.
  • How long will it take?
Generally a sitting will take a minimum of 2-3 hours, while all day sittings can go 8 hours or more. Try not to schedule anything too pressing after an appointment, since you will also need to make time for your aftercare as well.
  • What types of payment do you take?
EDEN takes cash as well as both debit and credit Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Sorry, no checks.
  • Can I bring my posse?
Bringing a friend is always fine, but since EDEN is a small studio, we ask you limit your crew to no more than one other person.
  • My babysitter bailed on me. Can I bring my son/daughter?
Supervising children while being tattooed is never a good idea. EDEN requires it’s visitors to be 18 years or over, so if you run into a problem, we’ll do all we can to help you reschedule for a more convenient time.
  • I feel more comfortable with my pet around. Can I bring him?
For sanitary purposes, we ask that you leave the little darlings at home (pet rocks excluded).
  • What if I don't make it to my appointment?
Appointments can be rescheduled if given a 24 hour notice prior to cancellation. (However, with the existing schedule, there may not be openings for several months). If no notice is given prior to a cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited, and all subsequent appointments will need to be rescheduled upon availability and payment of a new deposit.
