Preparing for your tattoo- How should I prepare for my tattoo?
For an answer to this question, check the ‘Preparing for the Session’ page in this site’s ‘Process' section. - Can we do it in stages?
Yes. Often staging a tattoo application will yield a more comfortable heal, and some people just prefer a shorter sitting. But be prepared in a multi-sitting piece to dedicate a minimum of 2-3 hours each session. - How much will it cost?
That is a complicated question, based upon factors such as size, subject and location. All these factors influence the time a tattoo application takes. For general rates, check the ‘Making an Appointment’ page in this site's ‘Process’ section. - How can I make it less painful?
The best way to avoid a painful session is to eat a moderate meal a few hours before a sitting, and go in feeling rested and relaxed. Avoid aspirin and other blood-thinning pain relievers. - Can I drink beforehand?
Drinking can cause increased bleeding, and can impair your decision-making abilities. Drinking heavily the day beforehand can also increase bleeding, and few things are more unpleasant than to get tattooed with a hangover. - Will I bleed a lot?
Generally, a tattoo should not bleed excessively. If you have health issues that can cause increased bleeding, please notify your tattooist of this before starting any tattoo procedure.
